Genesis 3 – The Fall of Man
Reading & Study Guide
Opening Scripture — Genesis 3:6 (KJV)
“And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food… she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat…”
Teaching
Genesis 3 introduces sin.
The serpent questioned God’s word. That is where the fall began—not with action, but with doubt.
Eve saw, desired, and took. Adam followed. And in that moment, sin entered the world.
What was once pure became broken. Shame replaced innocence. Fear replaced fellowship.
Yet even in judgment, God gave a promise—the first glimpse of redemption.
Genesis 3 shows both the depth of sin and the beginning of God’s plan to overcome it.
Key Truth
Sin separates—but God provides a way back.
Life Application
