These foundational truths provide a clear understanding of who God is, who we are, and what it means to follow Christ.

1. THE WORD OF GOD

The Bible is the inspired, preserved, and authoritative Word of God.

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.”
—2 Timothy 3:16 (KJV)

God’s Word is truth. It does not change, and it stands above all human opinion.
Every belief and every decision must be measured by Scripture.

2. GOD

There is one true and living God—eternal, holy, and sovereign over all.

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”
—Genesis 1:1 (KJV)

God is the Creator of all things. He is perfect in holiness, just in judgment, and rich in mercy.
He is not distant—He is personal, and He reveals Himself through His Word.

3. JESUS CHRIST

Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man.

“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us…”
—John 1:14 (KJV)

He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again.
Through Him alone, salvation is made possible.

4. SIN

All people are sinners by nature and by choice.

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
—Romans 3:23 (KJV)

Sin separates us from God and brings judgment.
No one is righteous on their own, and no one can earn salvation through works.

5. SALVATION

Salvation is by grace through faith—not by works.

“For by grace are ye saved through faith… not of works, lest any man should boast.”
—Ephesians 2:8–9 (KJV)

Jesus paid the full price for sin.
Salvation is received by trusting in Him alone—not by human effort.

6. REPENTANCE AND FAITH

A believer turns from sin and places faith in Christ.

“Repent ye therefore, and be converted…”
—Acts 3:19 (KJV)

Repentance is a change of heart and direction.
Faith is trusting fully in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

7. THE HOLY SPIRIT

The Holy Spirit lives within every believer.

“Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost…?”
—1 Corinthians 6:19 (KJV)

He teaches, convicts, guides, and strengthens.
The Christian life is not lived alone—it is empowered by God’s Spirit.

8. THE CHRISTIAN LIFE

A true believer grows in obedience, faith, and holiness.

“If ye love me, keep my commandments.”
—John 14:15 (KJV)

Faith is not just something you claim—it is something you live.
Growth comes through daily time in God’s Word, prayer, and obedience.

9. THE CHURCH

Believers are called to gather, grow, and serve together.

“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together…”
—Hebrews 10:25 (KJV)

The church is not just a place—it is a body of believers committed to Christ and to one another.

10. ETERNITY

Every person will spend eternity either with God or separated from Him.

“And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.”
—Matthew 25:46 (KJV)

Heaven is real. Hell is real.
What you do with Christ determines where you will spend eternity.
